Integrated management systems certification
BENZINA works in an integrated management system according to the international standards for quality management systems (ISO 9001:2008), the environment (ISO 14001:2004) and occupational health and safety (OHSAS 18001:2007). The certified system, approved by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance, ensures that customers can always rely on the quality of fuel, services and other products sold by Benzina. The premises of their pumping stations are safe for customers and all handling of fuels and other operating activities are secured in compliance with the legislation on health and environmental protection.
The certificate is an independent confirmation of the technical, organisation and staffing abilities of the company.
Benzina a.s. first acquired an ISO 9002 certificate in December 1996, after which it was recertified in 1999. During the following period a systemic changeover was made to the new, stricter ISO 9001 standard, which the company fulfilled as part of recertification at the end of 2002. Its most recent successful IMS recertification took place in October 2011.
The certifying company is Lloyd´s Register Quality Assurance, which is one of the most renowned companies of its type in the Czech Republic and the world. Validity is always awarded for three years and the certification is defended at regular intervals at check-up visits by independent auditors from LRQA.
The new ISO standard places great emphasis on the satisfaction, safety and health of the customer, the quality of products and associated services and takes into account process management and constant improvement.
