Fuel quality assurance

During January and February's special audit was conducted for low-temperature attributes of premium Verve diesel. Filterability parameter for all samples fulfil the declared value of minus 26degrees Celsius. Values actuated from minus 27 to minus 32 degrees Celsius.

One of the most significant ISO 9001 quality management system processes in BENZINA, s.r.o., is quality inspection of the fuels on sale. The filling station network has introduced the "Quality Seal" system, informing customers about the periodical and independent inspections of the fuel varieties on sale. Each filling station is inspected at regular intervals by an independent accredited external laboratory. The results of the inspections are processed using statistic methods.

In the long run, the development in the quality of fuel sold at BENZINA, s.r.o., has been showing very good and stable results.

In 2006, all controlled automotive petrol in the Quality Seal system achieved 100 per cent quality; 98.7 per cent of Diesel TOP Q samples collected and analysed by the independent accredited laboratory were also free and clear. Besides the monitoring of the quality of the fuel on sale mentioned above, the quality offered at filling stations was attested by the outcome of State inspections carried out by the Czech Commercial Inspection (ČOI) authority in accordance with Ministry of Industry and Trade By-law No. 229/2004 Sb. According to this authority, too, BENZINA, s.r.o., has achieved very good results, especially in view of the fact that in 2006, during its nationwide monitoring, ČOI found 4.8 % cases of non-compliance in general, but none was found in BENZINA, s.r.o.
ČOI inspects the whole portfolio of public filling stations on the territory of the Czech Republic with the exception of non-public "courtyard" sales.
