VERVA Diesel has excellent characteristics thanks to the highest cetane number on the market and a special modern formulation of additives. The cetane number denotes the quality of the diesel from the perspective of combustion-ignition characteristics and it is a parallel to petrol’s octane number for spark-ignition motors. The higher the cetane number, the higher the quality of the diesel. The motor starts better, has a higher performance, quieter combustion and smoother operations. Thanks to the higher performance the consumption of the fuel decreases. The positive impact on decreasing the environmental burden is also considerable since the exhaust fumes contain less undesirable combustion by-products. The recommended fuel cetane numbers for modern motors range from 50 - 60.
