Sales in Benzina plus Bistros Exceeded Expectations [22.10.2008]
Prague 22 October 2008 – The offer of gastronomic services are among the key elements of Benzina’s business strategy. “The operation of the new bistros shows that the customers’ interest in these accompanying services is increasing substantially. The sales turnover in the bistros exceeds the original plans by more than 50%,” Benzina’s Executive Director Martin Durčák stated.
One of the gastronomic models is operating today at roughly 90 premium Benzina filling stations. During the rebranding one of the following concepts was chosen depending on the space that was available at the given filling station:
Bistro Types:
a RESTAURANT operated by specialised companies that administer a network of gastronomic facilities;
a BISTRO minute, where drivers can choose from an offer of baked and fresh bakery goods made on site as well as from the offer of warm meals;
a SNACK minute with an offer of fresh baguettes and baked bakery goods made on site;
a CAFÉ minute – the smallest gastronomic model with an offer of quality espressos.
Last year the company also strengthened cooperation with McDonald’s restaurants for further cooperation as well as with the Italian Autogrill network.
